Associated Student Government will be holding a special election on March 7, 8 and 9 for students to vote on proposed changes to the student body constitution. Some of these changes include proportional representation of the student body in the ASG senate as well as changes to qualification for several ASG positions. It is your campus and your voice. The ASG Senate has officially appointed three new members to the ASG Senate. Lindsay Nelson well serve as a Math and Science Senator, Ariel Diamond and Telbe Strobeck Professional Studies Senators.

At Feb. 23 meeting ASG passed a bill for $8,031 to send Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) to the National Collegiate Conference in Orlando, Florida using the Regional and National Competition Fund.

After being sent to conference committee, ASG passed a bill for approximately $2,500 to send 12 students to the Associated Schools of Construction Conference from the Regional and National Competition Fund.

This past week the ASG senate passed a bill for $3,500 to send eight students on the Nordic Ski Team to the collegiate nationals in Sun alley, Idaho
